The Queen's Gate is a gated community located in Hawai'i Kai on the East tip of the island, which is surrounded by the Hawai'i Kai Golf Course and also located at the crossways between Koko Head, the Ko'olau Mountains, and the Pacific Ocean. This community offers 120 single-family homes as well as 2 tennis/pickle ball courts, 2 racquetball courts, and a community recreation center.

As mentioned before, this peaceful and secure community has views of the stunning Hawai'i Kai Golf Course, which offers a full course as well as a driving range for practice. However, this course tends to be more dry than the other courses on this list, so if super lush greenery is important to you, you can check out some of the following locations on our list.

Hoakalei Ewa Beach

The Hoakalei residences are a beautifully "maturing" community overlooking the coast of Ewa Beach, and are also built around Ernie Els' signature Hoakalei Country Club. These residences offer gorgeous gold course views as well as a private recreation area with a pool, tennis courts, a spa, and a fitness center.

The Hoakelei Country Club, on the other hand, is known for its beautiful design, its excellent pub food and drinks, and its challenging course. Note that this country club is a private club with membership fees, but members will tell you that the different price ranges are well worth the beautiful amenities, views, and golf course itself.

Ko Olina (Ko Olina Kai Golf Estates and Villas)

The Ko Olina Resort in Kapolei offers prospective residents 6 gated communities to choose from, but 1 community in particular- the Ko Olina Kai Golf Estates and Villas- is located on 34 acres of land bordering the Ko Olina Golf Club. This community offers 324 multi-family condos and townhomes in the middle of the property, with single family homes on the edge of the club's golf course.

The Ko Olina Golf Club features a gorgeous mid-difficulty course that can be expensive, but the quality and playability of the course itself makes up for the price tag.

Kahala Beach

The Kahala Beach condos are located right next to the 5-star Kahala Hotel as well as the Waialae Country Club. These beachfront condos feature an authentic mid-century Hawai'i style across 4 4-story buildings, which look out onto the Waialae Golf Course on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other.

As for the private Waialae Country Club and Golf Course, they both feature top-notch and friendly service, as well as excellent food and incredible views. The Waialae Golf Course has also hosted the Sony Open, which features a lineup of skilled golfers that gather to help raise money for local charities.

Turtle Bay (Kuilima Estates)

Turtle Bay's Kuilima Estates are located at the northernmost tip of the island, which is surrounded by the Turtle Bay Golf Course as well as views of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean. You can read more about the Kuilima Estates on our webpage here.

The Turtle Bay Golf Course is also known for being well-maintained as it is part of the prestigious and popular tourist destination The Turtle Bay Resort, and features a practice area (including a driving range, a chipping range, a chipping green, and a putting green) in addition to two main courses- the famour Arnold Palmer Course and the temporarily closed George Fazio course.
