Where is Ocean Pointe?

Located in Ewa Beach, Ocean Point is on the west side of Fort Weaver Road. This is a major highway that connects Ewa Beach to the Farrington Highway. One of the major cross streets is the Kapolei Parkway, which connects to the Kapolei City Center.

Ocean Pointe Neighborhood

Ocean Pointe was a pioneer of the planned community trend that would emerge on Oahu in the 80s. When the Haseko group purchased the land in 1988, they would spend two decades building homes that were extremely popular for homebuyers in Ewa Beach. From 1998 to 2009, they constructed beautiful homes that were highly desirable. In 2005 and 2006, they peaked in popularity, resulting in extremely high home prices. A couple of years later, the market would decline drastically, but Ocean Pointe homes have always been able to recover and remain popular and hold their value. While they may never return to their peak popularity, that means they are more affordable to average home buyers who want their own slice of paradise.

Townhomes are more predominant over condos because West Oahu has strict rules to keep high-rise apartments out of the community. They want to maintain the distinct Hawaiian atmosphere, and large buildings work against that.
