Built in 1979, Island Colony is Waikiki's tallest "condotel", standing 44 stories high and featuring panoramic views of Waikiki's cityscape, the Pacific Ocean, the Ko'olau Mountains, and Diamond Head. Island Colony features 745 studio and 1-bedroom units, and it sits a block and a half behind one of the most popular areas in downtown Waikiki, which includes the International Market Place, a plethora of shops and restaurants, and the famous Waikiki Beach.

Finally, Island Colony guests and residents can count on Waikiki Beach being nearby as well, allowing for nice swimming, surfing, paddle boarding, and sunbathing opportunities at arguably the most well-known beach on the island.
Traveling Southeast on Kuhio Avenue will bring Island Colony residents and guests to the Honolulu Zoo, the perfect family-friendly activity for viewing and learning about the hundreds of animals housed within the zoo's facilities. A bit further over will bring you to Kapi'olani Regional Park, which features a large field of grass for spending time outdoors picnicking or exercising.
